World War One period Imperial Russian Death Skull ring. Rings such as these were privately purchased and worn by soldiers as a “Memonto Mori” and to show that they are not afraid of death. This version was produced in Imperial Russia and worn most likely by a Russian soldier.
Solid silver ring. In the center a human skull motif, to the side cross bones and snakes. To the back an outline of hallmarks. The ring has signs of wearing Condition as in the photos.
