Description
A large round protection spinner, used on pre-WW2 Polish Eagle Cap badges. This spinners were designed to protect the user from the threaded post, while wearing the eagle on the cap. This example was made from brass and steel by H.Skarnik & M.Fiszbein of Warsaw.
The outer side of the protection spinner with an embossed striped pattern. On the flat inside, made of steel, in a circle impressed letters ESEF W – an abbreviation for the maker Skarbnik & Fiszbein of Warsaw.
Rare piece in a wonderful condition, currently these are heavily fakes, this is a 100% genuine example.
