An impressive enameled star of the Order of the White Eagle – the highest state decoration of the Second Polish Republic. Manufactured in France by special order in the 1930s. This model features a distinctive, elaborate silver and gold radiating background with a superimposed red and white Maltese cross. At the center, a circular medallion bears the monogram “RP” (Rzeczpospolita Polska), encircled by a green enamel laurel wreath. The arms of the cross are inscribed with the order’s motto: “Za Ojczyznę i Naród” (“For Fatherland and Nation”).

The reverse is fitted with a traditional French-style curved pin, typical of insignia produced in renowned French jewelry workshops. Executed with great precision and craftsmanship, retaining its original patina. Condition as shown in the photographs.

Examples of this type are among the rarest on the collectors’ market.
