Solid Silver ring decorated with a floral motive on the sides. To the front is an enameled red eagle, with a crown on the neck and an arm holding a sword. The eagle is an emblem of the Polish 64th Infantry Regiment (Murmańsk Rifle Regiment) which was stationed in Grudziądz.
The ring is hallmarked on the rim “900”. A typical hallmark seen on jewelry made on the areas of Poland which were occupied by Prussia.
Very good condition as on photographs. The ring was a private purchase as a souvenir or a gift of the regiment. Original pre-1939 perion.
