A rare variant of the Cross of Valour, marked “Wabiński” on the reverse. This version is not listed in Grzegorz Krogulec’s book “Krzyż Walecznych.”

Made of bronze, this variant was likely produced in France by either the Arthus Bertrand or Marius Delande workshop in Paris, commissioned by Wincenty Wabia-Wabiński.

The award is in the shape of a cross, featuring a crowned Polish eagle with outstretched wings in the center. The arms are inscribed with “Na Polu Chwały 1920” (“On the Field of Glory 1920”).

The reverse bears a sword and laurel wreath with the inscription “Walecznym” (“To the Valiant”), and underneath the sword, a raised inscription reads “WABIŃSKI.” Condition as shown in the photos.
