A pre-WW2 Polish photograph showing the parachute course during exercises in Nowa Wilejka. The course was organized by LOPP – Airborne and Antigas Defence League Badge.

The photo shows 4 paratroopers, falling to the ground after jumping, equipped with parachutes probably produced in Poland by the company (Wytwórnia balonów i Spadochronów Warszawa – Factory of Balloons and Parachutes, Warsaw). There is a pencil inscription on the reverse of the photo (Nowa Wilejka 139).

A rare photograph showing the beginnings of Polish parachuting, the photo was probably taken around 1938-1939, near Wilno.

Condition as in the photos.
