Polish officer’s saber, 1921 pattern, manufactured by Weapon Factory of Gabriel Borowski in Warsaw. Scabbard probably of German production (Eickhorn?).
The blade of the saber is nickel-plated with a slight curve with a single fuller on the sides of the saber blade. On the side of the blade, the mark “G.BOROWSKI WARSZAWA”.The guard and the pommel are made of brass. The pommel of the saber is directed towards the blade with a characteristic cap fastened with a brass screw. A cross-guard marked on the underside with number 5. The shank of the handle is wooden, profiled, covered with black leather with a braid. The handle is re-braided. A nickel-plated scabbard, finished with a heel.
