pre-WW2 Polish Officer’s Badge 2nd Grochów Lancers Regiment (Suwałki) – Gontarczyk Warsaw

Officer’s regimental badge of the 2nd Grochów Lancers Regiment named after General Józef Dwernicki from Suwałki, introduced in 1925. It depicts a crowned eagle with lowered wings. The eagle holds in its beak and talons a pennant in regimental colors, suspended on a chain, with the initials “JD” – in honor of General Józef Dwernicki.
