Pre-World War Two period Polish War Navy eagle cap badge. Made in Warsaw by H.Skarnik & M.Fiszbein for the Polish Navy. Damaged piece, missing the anchor.

White metal badge depicting a crowned eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield, the amazon shield covered with blue lacquer, two holes through the eagles chest and the amazons shield where originally the Anchor was set.. Eagle cap badge used by other ranks of the Polish Navy. Condition as on photographs.

This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Polskie Orły na Czapki 1919-39” on page 22, illustration 27.
