Polish eagle cap badge depicting an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. On the reverse a fixing post with the original spinner. Eagle cap badge used by the Polish Army in the years 1919-1939, made by H Skarnik & F Fiszbein in Warsaw.

 Good condition with a originally removed cross, had a owner with left-wing political views or of another faith (orthodox/ jewish/ muslim/ atheist). Eagles wz.19 were commonly used by the Polish Army during the Defensive War in September and October 1939.
