Pre-World War Two period Polish Air Force 1936 pattern eagle cap badge for Other Ranks and Non-Commissioned Officers. Made in Poland by Bronisław Grabski in Łódz, 1936-39.

Made from zinc. Badge depicting an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown, surrounded by a pair of Polish Hussars Wings to the sides. To the reverse a threaded post with a spinner. A very fine original cap badge.

This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Polskie Orły na Czapki 1919-39” on page 104 & 105.
