Description
A pre World War Two Polish breast badge of the 7th Battalion of Reserve Cadet Officer School. Very good condition. The front is in a blue enameled cross shape with sun rays in between the arms. The central medallion with a Polish wz.27 eagle and inscription around: “7 Baon.Podch.Rez.Piech”, an abbreviation for 7 Baon Podchorążych Rezerwy Piechoty meaning 7th Batalion of Cadet Infantry Officers of Reserve. The unit was stationed in Śrem, west Poland (Wielkopolska).
The reverse of the badge smooth with a threaded post in the centre and a spinner with the maker “W.Gontarczyk, Warszawa, Miodowa 19”. Two piece construction badge.
Beautiful badge in fantastic condition
