Description
A rare, wz.19 Polish Officers belt. The belt called the “English Type” was based on the British Sam Brown belt. However most likely produced locally in Poland with different characteristics of production such as belt buckle and rivets. The rivets on the cross-belt have broke off, as well as the belt button on the belt. Condition as on photographs.
The belt is attributed to Capitain Wincenty Brożych of the 2nd Light Artillery Regiment (2 Pułk Artylerii Lekkiej Legionów) from Kielce, Born 5.4.1901. Decorated with the order of Virtuti Militari. In 1939 held the function of the mobilisation officer.
