 Badge designed by Wincenty Gawron “Dębski” to commemorate the Warsaw Uprising. 

 Designed by Wincenty Gawron in the USA and made in secret by Andrzej Panasiuk of Warsaw, Poland. 

 Badge in the form of the Warsaw Mermaid with the Virtuti Militari cross on her shield. She is attacked by two monsters – symbolizing the Nazi Germans on the left and the Soviet Russians on the right. Below inscription “Powstania AK 1944” – Uprising of the Home Army 1944. Smooth reverse, no nut spinner.
