The cap was produced at the Cap and Hat Workshop in Gdańsk, located on Węglarska Street, where for many years it served as a shop display piece and as a showcase of the workshop’s craftsmanship.
The square crown is made of olive-green woollen cloth. The cap band is red, the colour used by the Military Police. On the band there is a single hand-cut metal rank star; above it is a hand-made Polish eagle cut from sheet metal. Between the crown and the band there is silver braid. The peak is made of leather and edged with metal.
Condition as shown in the photographs.
