Set of insignia of the 4th Polish Armoured Regiment Skorpion made by Mieczysław Białkiewicz for veterans. Mieczysław Białkiewicz was himself a soldier of the regiment

The set includes; 

  • A Polish Eagle made on the basis of the eagle of Italian production SA Picchiani Barlacchi. Eagle used by veterans. An eagle with outstretched wings sitting on an Amazonian shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. On the reverse, there are two flat wires for attaching. Cast in a soft metal alloy.
  • Two varieties of beret badges in the form of a scorpion, the reverse sides of both badges are plain with two loop fittings.
  • Regimental badge of the Polish Armed Forces in the West of the 4th Armored Regiment “Scorpion” with a miniature. Badge in the form of a black enameled “Monte Cassino” Cross on which there is a scorpion. Entirely convex. The reverse is smooth with visible rivets.

 

Interesting and unusual group. Good condition as in photographs.
