Uniform of a member of the Polish American Veteran Association. The organization was founded in 1921 and comprised veterans of General Józef Haller’s Blue Army.

The set includes a tunic and trousers. The tunic is blue with green piping (used by infantry-riflemen). A white-red lanyard is draped over the left shoulder strap. On the left shoulder, there is a patch of the 119th Post of the Polish American Veteran Association from Hartford, Connecticut, marked “POST 119 AVA HARTFORD CONN.” There are traces of two decorations on the left pocket. Above the pocket, there are faint traces of a removed ribbon bar. The trousers are of the same color with matching green piping.

The uniform features a full set of buttons (six small and four large) made by Waterbury Button Co for the Polish volunteers from the USA who joined General Józef Haller’s Blue Army. Good condition as in photographs.
