Polish Patriotic Miniature Gorget

 A shield shaped gorget with a crowned Polish eagle with spread wings. On its breast an applied gilded Virgin Mary of Ostrabrama. Plain reverse, engraved with a date on the reverse “16.6.1967”. 

 This gorget belonged to an officer of the 11th Signal Battalion, 2nd Polish Corps. Participant of the Battle of Monte Cassino
